Scientific work

Research work of teachers of the department is connected with development of actual problems of legal science, creation of a theoretical basis of legal reforms in the state. Training of candidates and doctors of law through postgraduate and doctoral studies remains a priority; advanced training through internships; expansion of international relations; participation of all teachers in research work, scientific conferences, seminars and symposiums; publication of articles, publications of monographs and textbooks.

In recent years, teachers of the department have defended such dissertations.

In 2013, L.M. Rusal defended her dissertation on "Legal facts as a basis for termination of individual employment" for the degree of Candidate of Law (PhD) in the specialty 12.00.05 – labor law; social security law.

In 2015, L.M. Rusal was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of commercial and labor law.

In 2013, O.V. Nikanorova defended her dissertation on "Administrative and legal relations in the activities of customs authorities" for the degree of Candidate of Law (PhD) in the specialty 12.00.07 – Administrative Law and Procedure; financial law, information law.

In 2015, O.V. Nikanorova was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of administrative law.

In 2014, Yu. S. Lepekh defended her dissertation on "Administrative and legal protection of the right to housing in Ukraine" for the degree of Candidate of Law (PhD) in the specialty 12.00.07 - Administrative Law and Procedure; financial law, information law. 

In 2016, V.G. Yavorska was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of security management, law enforcement and anti-corruption.

In 2017, M.I. Grab defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law (PhD) on the topic "Mathematical culture of a lawyer: philosophical and legal aspect" in the specialty 12.00.12 - Philosophy of Law.

In 2017, L.O. Marusyak defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law (PhD) on "Adaptation of administrative law of Ukraine and the Russian Federation with the law of the European Union: comparative legal aspect" in the specialty 12.00.07 - administrative law and process; finance law; information law. 

In 2020, N.M. Pavlyuk defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law (PhD) on the topic "National Police of Ukraine as a subject of administrative and legal protection of property rights" in the specialty 12.00.07 - administrative law and process; finance law; information law. 

In 2020, B.B. Melnychenko defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Laws on "Administrative and legal support of public administration: European standards and their adaptation in Ukraine" in the specialty 12.00.07 - administrative law and process; finance law; information law.

In 2021, Andritz MR defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law (PhD) on the topic "Principles of law in the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine" in the specialty 081 - law.

 

Employees of the department are working on the research topic "Prospects for improving certain areas of Ukrainian legislation" (2021-2025). As a result, teachers explored the shortcomings and problematic aspects of law, aspects of human rights in the context of European integration processes, in particular the impact of anti-corruption activities on human rights.

 

Scientific work of the Department of Law is carried out in the following areas:

• organization and holding of the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference ("Current issues of legal science"), publication of a collection of conference materials;

• organization and holding of annual scientific seminars ("Problems of state formation in Ukraine. Anti-corruption activities"), publication of collections of materials of the Scientific seminar;

• providing reviews on abstracts for the degree of Candidate of Law and providing reviews of scientific articles;

• organization and management of scientific work of students;

• scientific-consultative, organizational-methodical, information-analytical support of scientific work;

• preparation of scientific and methodical, textbooks and manuals;

• ensuring the activities of scientific circles "Problems of improving legislation in Ukraine" and "Anti-corruption activities".
